- Hi. I'm a cellist for most of my life now. I also worked for the National Academy of Sciences for several years before 9-11 hit and I retired due to full disability (before age 40). Now I research math for fun and deal with institutions as a pretty full time job. Music is the best!

I had to wear one of those until I had my ankle surgery. Now I've got a permanent cast. Next week, I get to go to a removable cast.
